About Us

We are a Louisiana-based company.  The company has been providing worksite wellness and medication therapy management programs since 2002.  Our team consists of residency-trained pharmacists, nurses, and dieticians with a combined experience of over 35 years.

Mission:

Our mission is to provide an innovative solution to maximize utilization of prescription benefit resources by employees through pharmaceutical care and health risk reduction.

We accomplish this through:

  • Providing a tailored company-wide onsite medication therapy management program continually addressing the prescription benefit and health issues your company is facing.
  • Conducting onsite individualized employee management consultations using the skills and knowledge of clinical pharmacists to improve lifestyle behaviors, medication use, and to lower medication costs.
  • Creating a program that pays for itself through producing long-term measurable results.

Our Program:

Our program is one of the most intense and unique health savings programs available to companies.  Each company is assigned an Onsite Clinical Pharmacist Coordinator who conducts all medication management activities onsite for the company.  The program consists of two core components.  The first being company-wide efforts to identify high-cost or high-risk plan members.  The second being more intense individual employee management consultations bringing medication management to a personalized level.  The program identifies Medication Savings Opportunities in order to generate concrete dollar savings for the company in addition to any savings realized through improving the employee’s health.

Individual Employee Management:

Our program’s success centers on working with employees on an individual basis.  High-cost or high-risk employees are identified through employees health screenings and prescription claims review.  Targeted employees are offered an annual consult with the assigned health coordinator.  The health coordinator reviews all relevant medical history, assesses current lifestyle behaviors, and provides a comprehensive medication review.  The health coordinator then designs a plan for the employee to implement behavior changes to lower health risks or to improve current disease state control.   Additionally, the health coordinator looks for opportunities to further save the company immediate money through identifying lower-cost medication alternatives and helps to see these changes are implemented when appropriate.  All changes are coordinated through the employee and the employee’s physician.  Individual Employee Management is ongoing until the established goal is met and medication costs are reduced.  Once met, annual reviews are then offered to the employee each year.

How We are Different:

Our strong focus on prescription health costs makes our program unique.  Our focus produces hard concrete dollar savings whereas other programs focus only on prevention or anticipated cost-savings.  We believe that intense involvement with the individual is required to see lasting behavior changes and follow through on cost-saving interventions.  Programs conducted over the internet, telephone, or mail do not provide the intensity and accountability for employees as do onsite programs with a dedicated coordinator.  Our Medication Savings Opportunity component uniquely positions the program to pay for itself by generating a substantial amount of immediate savings.  For example, a health coordinator working with one individual to make a change from a brand to a generic medication can generate over $900 in savings for that one medication change.

Experience and Proven Results:

We have been providing our services to employer groups since 2002 when we started with our first employer group Morris and Dickson.  Since then we have grown to provide our services to other companies including Weyerhaeuser, Pilgrim’s Pride, and Sports South.
